National Eczema softened water trials
A clinical trial to see if water softeners help children with eczema.
Eczema affects up to 20% of school children in the UK, but most treatments only suppress the condition and can have unwanted side effects. Research commissioned by the NIHR Health Technology Assessment (HTA) programme is investigating whether water softeners help reduce the severity of eczema in children.
